If you’re curious to know a little bit more about me, here I am. My name is Seth Marsicano and for the past three years I’ve been sharing stories of wrong-doing and government accountability in the Texoma area.
I grew up in Wichita Falls, TX. While my background is in film and commercial production, I got my start in journalism at KSWO in Lawton, OK. It grew from a passion of wanting to tell real, grounded stories. My beats included city council, crime & corrections and housing.
One of the reasons why I’m including freelance journalism into my routine is because there are still things that I want to keep up with in the Texoma area. There are stories that I feel still need to be told that I can’t necessarily publish where I might be working at the time.
News goes beyond a job for me. It’s honestly became a lifestyle.
I am dedicated to sharing stories that present only the facts with the goal of shining light on hidden issues and being the voice of the voiceless. Breaking down policies and make legalese more digestible for the reader has become a passion of mine as well as something I’m just really good at.
If you’re reading this, I hope you’ll make the decision to tag along in my journey among the countless other freelance journalist across the country.
